The Traditional Fondue was originally created in Zurich, Swiss in 1699. In the 50’s the Fondue became a success among the Swiss army, when soldiers started to create their own recipes at home. In the same period, the famous Chef Conrad Egli, began to serve chocolate fondue as a dessert at the Chalet Suisse restaurant in New York, NY making it gain international fame. More than 50 years later, Fábrica di Chocolate introduced to the market a new concept based on the best of the Fondue with the practicality of fast food: the Fondue Express.
